Shrove Tuesday is a fine thing. My Swedish pancakes turned out quite yummy, and I managed to find some of the traditional lingonberry jam at the market (pricey stuff, though, ouch) to which I've taken quite a liking.

We had a pancake supper at St. Luke's tonight, which was fun. There was a Mardi Gras theme - I now have shiny beads (which I had to do absolutely nothing to get :P). Silver, copper, gold, and a light metallic purple go really well together. I may use that as a color scheme for something. Shiny...

There was a moment of cruel teasing on tonight's Scrubs, when Dr. Cox and guest star Brendan Fraser came this close *Cas holds up fingers about an inch apart* from snogging. I was all "OMG, are they gonna do what it looks like they're about to do?" and then, nothing. Joke. Fraser's character announces himself still the champion of "gay chicken". Grrr. Don't tease us like that.

Watched episode 10 of Miracles, "Saint Debbie", tonight. Fell even more in love with Alva Keel, if that's possible. Dear lord, that is one sexy, complex Scotsman. *drools a bit* God, I love this show. I'm going to be whining about its unfair cancellation for months.

I've friended quite a few people recently, so hi and welcome *waves to [livejournal.com profile] alvafan, [livejournal.com profile] chazzbanner, [livejournal.com profile] deborak, [livejournal.com profile] icepixie, and [livejournal.com profile] schiarire*

Ooh, your Swedish pancakes sound divine :D I'm glad you guys had a fun pancake supper...after reading this entry, I can think of nothing more I want right now than a pancake ;)

Drat, I managed to miss Scrubs tonight, and it sounds like I missed a good episode! I'm glad I didn't miss them snogging, but I'm sad that you didn't get to see it...I'd really be kicking myself right now if I'd missed it, though. Such a great show! :D

Hallooo! Mmpancakes. Er. Well. I had Ramen Tuesday instead but it's at least in the same food group...

Ooh, lingonberry jam. I've always thought that sounded tasty. And I'm glad to hear that the pancakes were a success! Any celebration requiring a particular food gets bonus points from me. *g*

I watched Scrubs for the first time ever tonight- it's on a Canadian channel I don't really get well, so the eyestrain necessary to make out what's going on has never made it seem very tempting. But Dr. Cox was on Craig Kilborn last night and they showed the "gay chicken" clip, so I had to watch (it helps that I have a weakness for Brendan Fraser). And I am so glad I did. What a hysterical show! Is it always so goofy? And yet parts of it were really touching (I didn't see the end coming, sniff sniff). I really wish they'd kissed, though. Buncha teases. Hmph.

Hee hee hee... yep. Just yep. Alva has hooked me but good, and "Saint Debbie" is a most interesting episode for him. Layers on layers (mysterious, sexy layers). And I wonder how the slash-blind would see it. Would the episode simply not exist? Heh.

I made plain ol' Bisquick pancakes - my mom always made pancakes on Shrove Tuesday - and I thought of you and hoped your Swedish pancakes came out well! Other than that, my big Mardi Gras excitement was putting a cool Webshots Mardi Gras wallpaper on the computer. Shiny!

That was a great episode. I was saddened by the end. I loved the character of Ben. He was so fun and crazy. I was both surprised and not surprised by the ending. When JD got the code I wondered if it was Ben, but then we kept seeing Ben there, but he wasn't snapping pictures like he usually does--- and in the comment he had made earlier-- he had said he's be taking pictures until the day he died. I watched the episode again, and you can see that it is only Dr Cox that can see or talks to Ben.

The gay chicken was too funny, and puppeting Elliot was hysterical.

This'll teach me to check my profile page more often around here - I didn't even realize I'd been friended, nor that there was some lovely Miracles jabber a'goin' on, woohoo!

Glad you're enjoying the eps, hon!
