Woohoo! I love Fridays. Even better when I've got the house to myself and I can take the laptop into the living room and review as I watch.

Whoa, what happened to Daniel. Major owwies this week, and so soon after his gunshot wound.

Hee. If I was touring a museum and an exhibit suddenly came to life and spit a machine out of it, I'd probably boggle a bit, too.

Man, SG1 looks so odd coming through the gate with only three people. Teal'c still makes me do a double-take. Besides the hair, it doesn't look like he owns shirts with sleeves anymore.

Great, Carter's already cutting Daniel off mid-explanation. How fun.

Ok, so this is all taking place over at least two months? Man.

Heh. Daniel begged Jack to go and now he's gotten himself injured. The reaction should be interesting.

No way of knowing if Daniel's still alive? So what else is new? A few weeks ago they had no way of knowing you were alive, Sam. That never deters the SGC.

I really hate these Oscar Meyer bologna commercials. Geez, my kingdom for a Tivo.

Ok, now another six weeks has gone by? That explains how all his facial cuts have completely healed, at least.

Love, love, love Daniel in a bomber jacket. Yum.

Oh boy, now Jack's gonna negotiate? Pardon my skepticism, but he's not the most diplomatic guy ever. It's also not the greatest idea for the base commander to go off-world whenever he feels like it. But hey, he's going after Daniel, so I won't complain.

Hee. All these global maps with the missile paths reminds me of War Games. Let's play Global Thermonuclear War! No? Ok, how 'bout a nice game of Tic Tac Toe?

Man, Daniel's shooting at actual people. Have we seen that before? I can't think of any specific instance, but I could be forgetting something.

Ah, so Jack's going to make the bad guy come to him. Smart move.

Whoa, t-shirt. Niiiiice muscles in that shirt, Dr. Jackson.

Heh, go Teal'c! Way to be blunt. So far I'm liking the new, talky Teal'c.

"He's a resourceful fellow.", lol. Very true, Jack.

Ohh, so those two are married. Did they mention that before or did I blink? Daniel, let's not flirt with the married woman.

And Jack snaps. Looks like the pressure's already getting to him, poor thing.

Geez, and now we get jealousy stuff. Ok, ick. I hate cheating, in any case, and she totally didn't answer the question.

Eep, Chris Judge might want to cut back on the pectoral exercises. He's starting to get man boobs.

Awww, what a cute little exchange here. And Daniel speaks Goa'uld! I love this scene. We even get a fish reference :)

Whoa, Daniel relayed all that during that short conversation? I'm impressed.

Man, Daniel's quite the soldier in this ep. Lots of shooting. I don't know why fic writers keep stressing Daniel will never be a good soldier. He seems to hold his own in these situations.

Has religion *ever* been shown in a good light on this show? Really, the dead horse theme of religious oppression and insanity is getting a bit overused.

Oh god, next week Teal'c gets trapped in a video game. Anyone else thinking that one ep of X-Files where the video game sort of comes to life?

Now for the really important part of the evening - Atlantis! Eeeee!

Aiee, Rodney got zapped!!

I see they cut out the bit where you could see Sheppard's panties. Darn.

*dies* Oh my god, this scene. Facial paralysis...only Rodney would get shot in the face. And Carson is there to toment him a bit. I love it *snicker*

Nine missions already? And we've seen what, two?

I admit it, I still laugh when I see Rainbow's name in the credits. Those were some cruel parents, yo.

Rodney, Rodney, Rodney. You shouldn't put your feet on the table. Oh, what the hell, everything you do is cute.

This other soldier dude is obnoxious. I hope we're not gonna go the SG1 route, where everyone not on the main team is stupid and/or obnoxious.

They've already been in Atlantis for three months? Whoa, that's quite a jump ahead. Their timeline is on crack. I guess they're trying to keep it alongside SG1 time-wise.

So far Weir seems to prefer her civilian clothes over any uniform. I'm sure it's more comfortable, and I like seeing something not-a-uniform, but not sure that does her command any good.

Doctor Zelenka! Huzzah! I love all these recurring secondary characters.

McKay has *really* weird eating habits. Just, ew. Military food?

Heh, now even Teyla's people are holding meetings without her. I'd start feeling completely left out if I were her. She's keeping a nice level head here, though.

Ford *is* like an overeager kid. Or a puppy. But if I were cooped up like that, I'd wanna call shotgun too.

See, they already have food production problems. Didn't they make any sort of preparations at all? Did they just bring a bunch of MREs, except for the food they ate at that first dinner?

Hee, continuity ho! Sheppard's so gonna have a fear of bugs now.

More Beckett, please. Surely that's not Carson's only scene in this one. Not fair when we're having to see Halling so much.

No accident that Teyla is wearing the Atlantis uniform in this scene. So is Halling now the leader of the Athosians, or will she still have some sort of say?

Do they have any sort of team setup yet? We have eight people going through the gate, so is that two teams? Have Sheppard, McKay, Ford and Teyla become the new SG1?

Aw, another cute scientist, and an anthropologist this time. They've got the best geeks on this show. I hope we get to see the same ones more often, since theoretically they only have so many people there (did we ever get a head count?).

And now Sheppard gets stunned as well. An ep full of injuries. Too bad the stun thing is relatively benign, sort of like zat blasts.

Aww, Rodney will so not leave people behind now! I love this development in him.

Dude, this is an uppity sergeant.

Nice to see Teyla asking for confirmation before going through the gate. On SG1, they tend to just go through, and one would think people get squished by the iris that way.

Whoa, that was an abrupt scene change. I wasn't really sure when they stopped being in the gate room and started being in the conference room.

Ooh boy, Rodney isn't going to take to instructions like these very well. What right does this security guy have ordering him around, anyway? I got the feeling McKay is pretty high up in the Atlantis hierarchy.

So the locket is a trasmitter? Who the hell put it there?

Ok, so the Wraith put it there? And then Teyla's father somehow got hold of it. Yeah...gotcha.

Hee. Rodney is so impatient when people don't get what he's saying.

Ha! Now Rodney and Shep are finishing each other's sentences. Ok, too cute. And now they're bantering, and Rodney's all nervous b/c of the upcoming mission. I like these two interacting.

I love McKay in the field. He can act under fire (like pulling Shep out of there), but beforehand is nervous as hell. So frelling cute.

Omg, they actually had to say "The Angus Diet is not a real diet" on this dorky Hardees commerical. Because some people are probably stupid enough to think that going out and eating nothing but huge bacon-cheeseburgers will help them lose weight. Oy.

Damn, Teyla's a good shot. Cool how she's taking on this one Wraith by herself, when four guys are taking the other one.

Man, these two are getting a beating this ep! Rodney and Shep are walking trouble magnets.

I wish they'd let Teyla win on her own, but nooo, Shep has to save her. Dammit.

No more Carson in this one? Unfair! *pouts*

Um, how smart is it to keep this Wraith in the city with them? These guys can make people see things that aren't there, after all.

"Okie-dokie. I'm gonna go make myself a sandwich." Ok, it's official, I've fallen for the snark. Sheppard has wormed his way into my affections.

Well, not the strongest ep of the season, but I liked it. It was Teyla's turn to get some development, and she's not irritating me or anything. Still a bit boring, but that may be actress issues. I'm finally seeing some nice interation between her and Weir, with the whole shared burdens of leadership thing.

Rodney is still bringing teh funneh, and even though Carson wasn't around much to banter with him (grr), he and Shep have a good buddy vibe going. Not sure I see the slash there (I have a feeling there will het in Sheppard's future, anyway), but they already make good friends, and that's cool too.

I gotta wait another week for a new ep? God, I hate waiting. I am *never* going to survive the fall hiatus...
