More icon therapy. New sea creatures and "Nature is Art" icons, free to a good home. Again, if you want one, please download it from my icon page instead of using the iffy Photobucket images.









This batch includes the extremely cool anglerfish and gulper eel, and microscopy pics of trees, chemicals, nerves, and assorted vitamins.

I very much enjoyed tonight's Without a Trace. I've always liked Tony Goldwyn, and I thought he did a wonderful job playing the twin brothers. Hated the ending, though, which left me all angsty and unfulfilled.

Yesterday's Wordsmith word-of-the-day was "gadzookery", meaning "the use of archaic words". This pleases me more than is probably normal, and I shall have to make a note to use this term in the future. Gadzookery. Fun to say.

April Fools pretty much passed me by today (thank goodness, I hate pranks), but I would like to observe a cooler holiday - Icon Maker Appreciation Day. As obsessed as I am with icons, I appreciate everyone in LJ-land who makes such wonderful creations for us to enjoy. Thank you!

I liked tonight's Without a Trace too, but I share your opinions on the ending. I love that show and the way it can get to me emotionally, but sometimes that's not the best thing...

I'm glad someone else found the ending a bit abrupt. I mean, I know they just collect the evidence, not actually try and convict anyone, but really, I hate not knowing how it turns out. I just felt so *bad* for the one twin, the one who was left thinking he really did all those things. How awful.

Oh, pretty, pretty! I had to put off going to the Museum of Natral History today--and today was my day :/--because the morons in my building decided to tear all the plumbing to bits and . . . it's a mess. No nature or science today. Hopefully Monday.
