Didn't get around to watching this week's ep until today, and now I'm all bummed that they killed one of my favorite relationships on the show - the father/son dynamic they'd set up with Weaver and Jimmy. Dramatic and touching, yes, but still a bummer.
At this point, Ben really should be talking with his dad about what the hell the Skitters are doing to him. I thought Jimmy's death might push him to finally open up, but he's still acting like nothing's wrong when obviously something is happening. Mind control, information gathering, something. It's frustrating to me when shows rely on a lack of communication b/w people to make plots happen, so I hope he fesses up soon.
Pope was more of an asshole than usual, so I can't blame Tom for going to town on his face. I didn't expect Anthony to fall on his sword like that and actually go off with him, but maybe that will be interesting. If the 2nd Mass is heading for Charleston, it's going to get a bit harder for Pope to just randomly catch up with them again, so I'll be curious to see where that goes. It's a bit convenient, suddenly having someone show up with news of a city and government and allies, so I hope they'll continue to be suspicious of everything and not repeat the mistakes of last season.
