Wow.

Yeah.

That was intense.

Loved the crew and was crushed to see them all go except the two. Loved Adelaide and wish she could've stuck around for longer, b/c Lindsay Duncan is awesome.

Loved having some payoff from all the "all-powerful Time Lord! Hubris!" hints from the past few seasons.

Am not ready to say goodbye to Ten. Someone give Tennant a BAFTA for this one.

And as for Christmas - OMG YAY DONNA! WILF! THE MASTER!!!

As horrible as Rusty can be, I will say this, he knows how to put an audience through an emotional wringer. Often contrived, but still. That was intense. Now I'm looking forward to seeing Ten put on trial for his actions, and I'm wondering if this regeneration will be a forced one by some returning Time Lords.

Yeah, hardcore episode. Perhaps my favorite of Tennant's run. Perhaps. I haven't made up my mind, yet. But it's certainly better than anything I've seen in the last two seasons.

Quite honestly, I've kind of hated Tennant's Doctor. However, I'm willing to admit that it may not be Tennant himself I dislike as much as his writers. Sure, there have been a few good episodes here and there, but on the whole? Not so excited.

I'm looking forward to the change-up, and I hope that it will bring good things. If the next two specials are as good as this one, I will be well satisfied.
