castaliaOMG I so did not see that coming. Mr Smith! A double agent! Definite points for such a neat twist.
I haven't been posting much about this show, if at all, but I'm loving it just as much as the parent series, and much better than Torchwood. It's a total girl power show, really, with Sarah Jane and Maria at the front of it all, but the boys don't do too badly either. I do love seeing Clyde and Luke palling around while Sarah Jane and Maria build things and break into buildings.
Sure, it's a kids show, and we have to endure lots of Slitheen and fart jokes, but it's a clever little series. Honestly, it just keeps getting better and better as the season goes on. I can't wait for next week, but I'm very sad that we're up to the series finale already. I want more. They keep giving us little references to UNIT and such things, but I want to see them. There's tons of fan spec that Martha may join UNIT, which would be awesome. Clyde would also make good UNIT material, not to mention Maria as well.
Also, despite New Who's propensity for getting separated parents back together again, my money is still on Alan and Sarah Jane hooking up. The shot of them with Maria and Luke watching the sky was very family-ish.
I need icons. But that always means deleting something. Woe!

Though they had me from the pilot when they showed that SJs loft had a pic of the Brig pinned to the wall :)
