Oh, squee. I haven't looked forward to a show this much in ages. Or maybe I have, but the current level of squee just blocks out all memories of past squee. Either way, this show makes me very happy.
Things I loved about this episode:
1. Olive
2. The aunts. Taxidermy with a Bejeweler FTW!
3. Olive and Vivian singing in the car as they follow a pigeon with a pasted on wing.
4. Emerson and the morgue attendant. The fact that Emerson wants to make money off the case so he can buy more yarn.
5. The crazy multi-generational romance of the windmill keepers and the criminals.
6. Chuck and her bees.
7. Chuck and Ned dancing in the beekeeper suits.
8. Olive. Olive. Olive. Seriously, Olive.
9. The pigeon. And Digby the wonder dog.
10. Oh, everything. Seriously.
Chuck was not annoying this week, which was great. The aunts got lots of screen time and I loved their interactions with Olive and that Olive got them out of the house. I love that seemingly everyone in this cast can sing. The plots continue to be pure, unadulterated crack, and I love them, too. Have I mentioned how much I love this show? Because I do. A lot. Just in case you couldn't tell.
keleos made me this icon and I adore it just as much as the scene that inspired it. ♥ ♥ ♥
