This keeps getting more and more awesome every week and I am so full of squee right now! Eeeeeeee!

I don't even know where to start! Derek Jacobi and the whole YANA thing and the Master and his being such a better human as the Professor than the Doctor ever was as John Smith. And then John Simm. Bouncing around like mad and looking so hot in those shirtsleeves. Heart.

Jack hitching a ride literally on the TARDIS was silly, but yay it was so much fun to have him back! Flirting with Ten, Martha, the blue alien chick with her Chan and Tho, and random cute guys in the hallway! But nothing trumps all his interaction with the Doctor, who not only had scorching hot chemistry with him even through radiation-proof doors and kept on protesting when Jack flirted, but who was so very alien and cold and completely unrepentant about leaving Jack behind ON PURPOSE. Just because Jack being, for all intents and purposes, immortal really bothers him on a fundamental level. Wow. The entire scene with Jack talking about all his deaths and the way Ten looked at him through the glass...just...squee. It's so good to have all that finally out in the open, where everyone knows about it and now Martha has that realization that Rose never ever picked up on, that sometimes people get left behind for all sorts of reasons and the Doctor won't go back for them, not if he can avoid it.

And Ten was damn SCARY when he yelled and got all up in Martha's face about the watch. So alien in this and so enthusiastic about human nature and its indomitable spirit and yet he just doesn't get them at ALL, not really. I love this season so damn much!

Also, I laughed so hard at Jack's catty comment about the Doctor not leaving one behind if one is blonde. OH, SNAP. Though I'm willing to put odds on that Rose was a fake blonde. Those eyebrows...

I really want to know how Our Intrepid Heroes are going to get out of this predicament. No TARDIS at the end of the universe and the last transport to Utopia just took off. IT NEEDS TO BE NEXT WEEK NOW PLZ!

Oh, I'm so glad I'm not the only one homing in on those shirtsleeves. 'Cos, dude, those were some damn fine shirtsleeves.

And hell yeah, the Doctor this season has rocked like a rocking, rocking thing. I havne't been this enthused about Ten since his first five seconds with the whole "teeth" thing.

I just posted the squee in my journal :) The amount of continuity in this episode, not only from the 9th and 10th doctors, but reaching back to 7th and 8th doctors in relation to the Master is AWESOME!
