Job stuff

Well, my holiday downtime sucks slightly less now that I have something with which to occupy myself! Had my first night of training today at Ye Olde Bookstore in the mall. This should be fun, actually. I get to work with shanola22 and be around books all day - not a bad deal, if you ask me.

Shan was good enough to show me how everything works tonight. Learned a lot and it made the time really fly by. Now let's just hope it all sticks and is still in my head after I've had a sleep.

I also hope this sinus congestion I've got will go away soon. Man, I'm not back in this state more than a week before it all goes haywire again. I don't think the South is good for my sinuses, not at all. I had almost no trouble with them at all in Wales.

Yes, there's a reason I'm wearing Jake's coat and standing on a chair - that is indeed a sonic screwdriver I'm pointing at the camera in my attempt to look Doctorish with coat and scarf. You can see the blue glowy bit and I can attest that it makes the niftiest noise when you press the buttons. It was Jake's present to me, and a very thoughtful one at that.


Me in the awesome Bangor hoodie everyone got me. This is my "I'm from Caernarfon!" look, as we always tease Kate about her home town and its unique brand of chav ;P

The dorky group photo may have to be my new wallpaper. I love these people so much.

You should trek up north (way north) if you sinus congestion gets really bad.
February in the Laurentians is really cold but good to clear up your head.

Aw, how early did she go? I wasn't there until 6 PM, and a lot of it was in the back at first.
