Happy International Talk Like a Pirate Day!

I just noticed that LJ has put little eyepatches on the username icons. Hee. Look: castalianspring - I have an eyepatch!

ETA: There's a nifty English-to-Pirate translator on the ITLAP website, for those who don't know a head from a halyard and want to pirate up their speech. New and improved!

Also changed by LJ: the posting button now reads "update Captain's log". And Frank the Goat is wearing a cute pirate outfit.

*sigh* If I had my way, I'd be watching Captain Blood and maybe even going out to the pub wearing piratical regalia. Alas, am stuck indoors writing about cuttlefish instead.

Hm. I wonder if anyone else in the department would object if I named the cuttles after famous pirates...

Ok then what about sunday of the weekend you get back or some time the week after that? Do you still have the same mobile that you had over Christmas? It'd be easier to text plans instead of doing them over the net, heh.
