Merry Christmas!
Dec. 25th, 2004 01:02 am*happy sigh*
Just got home from Midnight Mass. It was lovely as usual (St Luke's was built in the early 1870s, and is still the prettiest building in our state. At Christmas? More than gorgeous.) and we got through our Bach cantata with only a few hitches. I managed the recitative and my aria without screwing them up, and the a capella carol I did during communion - "Let Us the Infant Greet" - went well, also.
Still not completely sure about my plans for tomorrow, actually. I know I'll be up early to do pressies with the family, but after that...hm. We usually go to Alabama to see mum's family, but I have to be back for Sunday morning, b/c we're doing Lessons and Carols. So I may drive down, eat, and drive straight back. Oh well. Worth it for the food ;)
Speaking of food, our Christmas dinner here was quite nice. Goose as usual, and an assortment of vegetables. I think I may go make a sandwich from the leftovers...
Hope all of you are having a lovely holiday season. Eat good food and stay warm! *hugs to you all*
