Sorry I've been MIA for the past few days. Had to work most of the week, which sucked like the proverbial industrial-strength Hoover. I hate lazy, stupid people. I hate, abhor, loathe, detest, despise, hold in utter contempt, hate hate HATE them. Especially when I have to work with them, while they do nothing yet whine about it. If they ever actually do anything, they do it wrong. Then I have to fix it.

So glad I'm only going to be there for a few months. It's great seeing my old friends again, but I can't stand much more of these other morons.

Also, Thursday night I had a little...accident. Was leaving to go to work, 7:45-ish, so it was dark. Got in the car, started it up, fiddled with a few things for at least 4 or 5 minutes, then shifted to reverse and backed up.

Right over my sister's dog. She'd been under the car, and even though the engine had been idling for all that time, she never moved. It was dark, and I never noticed her. They took her to the vet, and she's got some broken bones. She's miserable, despite the pain meds, and I feel like a heel. She's getting old and arthritic as it is, and if she ends up kicking the bucket thanks to this, I'm going to feel like utter shite.

Thank god I have two days off. I need the time to recoup. Farscape today, which will definitely make me feel better. Peacekeeper Wars, yay!
