Well, it took an extra few days to get here, but my copy of the special edition Master and Commander DVD is here! Woohoo! cimmerianwillow and I watched the deleted scenes and the "Hundred Days" documentary last night - there was much squeeing.
More detail on the extras later, when I'm more coherent about them. Right now it's all "OMG I <3 them so much!!!11!!!", which is accurate, but not very articulate.
Now if my dissection specimens will just get here. I ordered a preserved perch and some clams for my 4th grade reading group to look at, but they have to ship from Nebraska. I hate going to class and having to tell them "sorry, they didn't come yet" every day. Arrive, already!
