Of paint, pain, and cat poo.

Ouch. Have spent the last 3 hours helping to paint ceilings. My back and neck now ache a bit, and I'm covered in white paint, but it was fun :) Gary and Sandy's new house will look great once they're finished with all the remodeling.

Unfortunately, I came home to find that the cat didn't feel well while I was gone and had an accident in my closet. My room smells like poo. Joy.

In happier news, I hit a few local used book stores and left with The Most of PG Wodehouse. I shouldn't have, but I couldn't resist. Just like last time, I had a long conversation with the guy who owns the place about ships, music, and movies. He shares nearly all my historical interests, so it's always fun to chat.

Have started How Right You Are, Jeeves, which is wonderful, as expected. I love how Bertie is such an animal person (well, excluding swans and terrier's belonging to Stiffy Byng). The last short story I read was full of Bertie and his fondness for cats, and in HRYAJ, he proves he's a dog lover as well. That's so cute :) I also adore how he gets all emotional when Jeeves leaves for his annual holiday *g*
