Short jaunt over to England

castaliaGoing to Chesterfield tomorrow to spend the weekend with Marie and her family. It's Marie's sister's 21st birthday so they're having a big party, and Helen and I are tagging along. Should be interesting.
To be honest, it'll be nice just to get out of Bangor for the weekend. I need the break. After talking yesterday with my supervisor about experimental design and the next section of my project, it looks like the y-maze stuff is going to take ages.
Supervisor: *lays out some extra stuff I hadn't considered that will have to be done before the trials I really want to test*
Casta: *inwardly does some math and flails b/c not enough time, omg*
Supervisor: Btw, when does your visa expire?
Casta: .....................
So, yeah, might have to get that extension for my thesis until the end of November instead of September. Unless things go amazingly well and don't take as much time as it looks like it will.
I'm not holding my breath for that last one. Oy. This is what I get for choosing my own project.
Anyway, probably won't have 'net access until Sunday night so I'll see you all after the weekend!
