A full day of playing with stats has killed my brain, thus a few hours of icon therapy was in order. This is how I feel today. Seriously, this energetics thing has taken on a life of its own and with a week to go we're still not seeing an end in sight on the analysis, let alone the write-up. To add insult to injury, we've still got the coastal zone law essay to write, the ever present threat of the lit reviews looming over us, and another week of coastal zone management to suffer through. I'm starting to think about the time we have and how much we have to do and...yeah, flailing.

In happier news, not only are the cuttlefish in tank B displaying patterns indicating maturity (zebra stripes for the boys) but the large female in tank C is laying eggs! She was in the middle of it when I went in today to feed them and clean the tanks. If these hatch ok, I may have another batch of animals to work with by summertime. *crosses fingers*

I do know of and like Nickel Creek's music, since they're produced by my Alison. I just don't have any of their CD's yet for some reason.

Johnnie Walker Gold Label with Lindt Dark Chocolate truffles is my panacea. Too bad it sets you back about $75 to get both.
