Dude, Howard Hesseman! He tends to pop up now and again but I'll always remember him as Doc Farraday from The Flight of the Navigator. Movie from my childhood right there.

Love House mocking Chase's shoes. Chase looked so offended.

House is mean to Wilson (this is not new) but Wilson doesn't look so amused this time. Hmm...

OMG, Warren. And he loves cows. There is no end to my amusement over this.

Howard: "If you're not prepared to look stupid nothing great is ever gonna happen, right?"

*pause*

"On the other hand, I guess your testicles aren't going to explode either."

Hee!

House: "A disease that attacks his brain, heart and testicles...I think Byron wrote about that."

House and Wilson play foosball! Men after my own heart. And we learn that Wilson's wife hates House, which is unsurprising considering Wilson would rather spend Christmas with House than with her and is even now staying late at the hospital just to play foosball with him.

Dude, I don't know who that actor is that my flist was gushing about seeing (Greg Grunberg? He looks slightly familiar but not ringing any specific bells), but I love him just for kneeing House in the groin. Woohoo! Makes me want to pinch his chubby little cheeks.

*dies at Hugh's Dr Frankenstein laugh*

Wilson's shaky speech to House about needing a friend he could talk to = nice. House's snark in the face of it = also nice for consistency but dude, poor Wilson.

...dude, they let the husband watch the transplant? Surely that's not allowed. No one needs to watch their spouse being cut up like that, unless they really want mental issues for the rest of their lives. Geez. I know he was above the dad's room, but surely he'd be able to see into the other room as well if all that separates them is a swinging door, especially with all those windows.

So much cheating this episode. Ugh.

Hard to feel very sorry for Wilson when his wife cheats on him. In a moment of cosmic justice he's had the tables turned on him. On the other hand, cheating on someone b/c they cheated on you isn't very morally upright either. However, I'm willing to overlook it all and not think about the philosophical issues if only b/c we get Wilson staying with House. He went to House even after being treated like crap. They are so dysfunctional it kills me.

And next time we get to see them being all domestic and arguing! House and Wilson living together at 221B Baker Street. Can't get any cooler than that. Very mean of them to make us wait three weeks for it, but in the meantime I'm sure a million H/W fics will be written to tell us what the boys will be doing in the interim. Together, they fight crime. Whee!

That is something only the man who played Johnny Fever could get away with saying.

...Okay, probably not, but I'd still like to think so.

Prolly a silly question, but who's Johnny Fever?

Not a silly question at all! Johnny Fever was one of the DJs on "WKRP in Cincinnati," a sitcom from the 1970s. Johnny was...a little out there. But then, the entire radio station was a little out there.
