Ugh. I was hoping working so much wouldn't catch up to me quite this quickly. Woke up today with a pounding headache and more a little nausea, so when I got to work and they were sending a bunch of people home due to a light work day, I put it down to providence. Thus, here I am, back home and downing the Pepto. I may go to choir practice tonight just b/c I can, then come home and catch a nap before job #2 (I'll go in a bit early, I think, to make up for the hours lost).

Have had oatmeal, a banana, and tea in attempt to settle stomach. So far so good, in that there's been no tossing of any cookies yet. *eyes stomach warily*

My Escapade DVDs came already, much quicker than I'd anticipated, so that's one nice thing for this week. Will have to put a big review post together when I have the time. Also got to spend Sunday with [livejournal.com profile] cimmerianwillow, who I miss terribly now that I'm working so much and don't get to hang out as often. *clings*

I know I've been neglecting LJ rather a lot recently, or at least much more than usual. Part of me also worries about being interesting, b/c it seems like I've been defriended right and left as of late. So, in an attempt to engage a bit more with all of you, here's the latest meme gacked from just about everyone:

The Five Things meme:
Ask me for "top five" lists of pretty much anything, and I will list you my top five of that thing or things. (Assuming that I have a top five, or even any five, of the thing in question.)

So, yes, ask away. I will answer when I have five minutes of consciousness in a row.

Ooh, that's a tough one. Ok, let's see...in no particular order:

1. Just about every scene in Hero's Heart.

2. *cough* The barn scene in Maze of the Minotaur.

3. The bit in Two Men and a Baby when he talks with Nemesis about Hercules.

4. His turn as Orestes in Long Live the King.

5. H: "Why are you purple?"
I: "I like it!"

Plus most of Pride Comes Before a Brawl, Cast a Giant Shadow, Mother of All Monsters, Once a Hero, all his deaths and resurrections, and we have a whole other kettle of fish if we add in the Young Iolaus moments ;) It's hard to decide!

*snickers* You brat.

Ok, now that I've finally gotten around to replying to this...

1. Shenandoah Valley - There were tons of historical and Civil War type things here I wanted to stop and see, but didn't have the time to do so. Maybe next time.

2. There are some cool caverns in Grottoes, VA I would like to see. I think they're called the Grand Caverns.

3. I'd love to spend more time in Carytown, actually. That was such fun.

4. I picked up a local guide book type thing while stopping for food, and it advertised a Victorian Festival in Staunton, VA. It sounded like a city I'd like to visit.

5. That quaint little gas station where I stopped to nap that one time...*g*

Poor you - have some crystallised ginger to settle that stomach. It sometimes works and besides, it tastes nice. (Yay, another example of Tilley's shallowness!!!)

Five things. Hmmmm...

Tell me your top five really shallow moments. Interpret that how you will.

Top 5
