Holiday ramblings.

Happy Halloween, All Hallows Eve, etc to those who enjoy this holiday! It kinda snuck up on me this year, so I never made any plans. Was exhausted from a crappy weekend at work anyway, so I've just vegged out today.
First time in several years I haven't gone out to the Block Party downtown. Feels odd, but it's always so crowded, and I didn't get up any sort of costume. Maybe next year. Pirate costumes are always fun, or Royal Navy, or...hey, I could be a squid! That would amuse me terribly, to go as a squid. *grins and blows raspberry at fellow Chatterleys*
I really need to stop taking on new projects. Work, too many fannish things to do at once, I'm so behind in my Welsh lessons, and now my choir master wants me to help out with my church's new webpage. He had volunteered to take care of it, without knowing the first thing about web design. So he's been trying to coordinate the thing with the guys at Wingnet (their host), but I think he's realized he's in over his head. I'd love to help, but I'm not exactly an expert, either, just dabble in basic HTML. Argh. I don't have time for this. But there's literally no one else to do it. I could do some graphics, at least, maybe a nice banner for the page. I've seen what they've put up so far, and to be honest it looks like shite. I'm just afraid I'll leave them in the lurch even more when I move. *sigh*
Btw, did anyone watch tonight's Cold Case? I'd never seen the show before, but started watching when I saw Bruce A. Young's name in the credits (Simon! yay!). At the end, they played a song I rather liked, but the end credits went by too fast for me to see if they said what it was. Male singer, and the recurring lyrics make me think the title may be something along the lines of "Land of the Morning Star". Anyone know this song?
I so need to sit down and get some things done. But
soapgatesgwun and
soapgatelantis are still eating my brain, and show no signs of stopping any time soon. *kiks them*

Date: 2004-10-31 09:52 pm (UTC)and, I didnt watch the Cold Case ep, but I have found this site (http://www.have-dog.com/coldcase/) very useful in locating Cold Case music. They have a Without A Trace music page as well. -Just put "withoutatrace" in the url instead of "coldcase".. if youre interested.
