I'm betting someone stuck prozac in the water supply in hopes it would make Jack easier to deal with.
Next week - To save Teal'c, Daniel will cross the line? What line?
This is what I would like to know.
Ok...so, if you die violently you can't possibly have a happy afterlife? That's a positive outlook.
Well, there is cultural precedent. Though mostly from the other end...
Ha! Rodney doesn't play well with kids. How cute. Oh my, and it just makes me love him more. I'm so whipped.
You SO are. But it was funny, and I loved that Ford found it funny. And those kids were totally enjoying ticking him off.
Aw, c'mon Rodney, don't be mean. Aw, he made her cry. Oh boy. Rodney, dearest, it's probably a good thing that you're gay.
I was thinking that too... Of course, it is always possible that Carson might want to adopt. *Innocent grin?*
Good points from Weir. She's gonna have to make some rules about what the teams can take from other worlds. She's right, they can't bring back refugees from every corner of the Pegasus. They just don't have the resources, despite the size of the mainland.
God, I loved Weir in this one. Just - She gave Rodney a good smack on the hand. He looked like he could be learning rather a lot from that. And she was just so - Mwah! UN. You know, ways of life, choices we can't make... I like her. She's got a very different morality from anyone on the SGC and that was throughly on display there.
Plus! You could see her freckles! *dies of the cute*
Scenes like this make me worry people will start to dislike Rodney a bit. He's oddly contradictory here - part of him is reacting strongly to the idea of the suicide pact, but another part would take the ZPM to benefit the Atlantis crew without much of a thought for the consequences.
Eh. Shining knight he's not. There's really nothing contradictory about his behavior - he has a first class case of Manifest Destiny syndrome, which I'm sure he'll grow out of, especially since he's got Weir about to get ticked off at him about it. It's the same mindset that locked the Souix up and then tried to stop the Sun Dances because they involve ritual wounding. It's a 'I know what's best' mindset, and Rodney's got it in spades.
Alas. Still, I doubt he'll manage to keep that arrogance intact for long, like I said.
Rodney with a pistol makes me nervous.
...Me too.
At least next week is the Carson-centered episode "Poisoning the Well". I feel slightly mollified.
I'm so excited! Did you see his face as he bent over that patient? Wah! Carson angst! Squeee! *bounce bounce*
