Yeah, I like Sheppard and McKay as friends too. Any attempt at slashing them gets a "does not compute" brain-shutdown from me, but the friendly guys-messing-around banter is fun.
And there definitely wasn't enough Carson-- come on, he only got like two lines! Poor guy, seems he's doomed to only get a lot of attention when someone's seriously injured. I hope they eventually develop his character beyond his job requirements. And I agree, having to put up with so much Halling when Carson was so ignored was a crime. Halling was a whiny little bitch in this episode. I'm glad he's gone. (Why exactly has he had screen time in every episode so far? He hasn't even done anything important!)
