Oh, cool! I loved Best in Show. Will certainly go find this movie and rent it.
The thing is, when I first heard "Into the West" at the end of RotK, I loved it. I was all caught up in the emotion of the movie, and the song just added to it. Upon repeated listenings, I still like it, but it's not really an amazing song on its own merits. Very small range, and it's rather easy to sing if you've got enough power and clarity.
Some thing about some of the songs from Cold Mountain, though. Simple, easy songs to sing, especially if you have that clear type of voice. For creativity, I was more impressed with "Belleville-Rendezvous"
