Art swag from con

For the past few years I've managed remarkable restraint in the dealer rooms at Dragon*Con, mostly because I like making my own costumes/accessories/props, rarely find t-shirts I like, and have limited horizontal space in which to display other things. However, I have plenty of wall space, so I usually come home with something from the art show.
This year I went a little overboard, but I absolutely adore the things I bought.
This year I found a new artist to love, Geoffrey Aaron Harris. I love his retro, whimsical style and the bright colors. So I came home with two matching prints, as I couldn't really get just one.

These are hanging above my computer desk and I adore looking up at them.
Then in the print shop I found a great Temeraire-inspired print, one of a series of stained glass effect scenes all inspired from various books. I had to get it. Every year I look for dragon artwork I like, and every year what I see is a lot of ugly dragons (with furry looking faces or too fearsome expressions for me to love them, or surrounded by naked women, etc) or cutesy cartoon dragons, so I usually come home empty handed. These are stylized enough that I can love them, and I just adore the colors. I found a shiny red frame for it but am still looking for just the right spot to hang it.

Lastly, I bid on and won this hilarious picture of Octopus!Napoleon, a parody of Jacques-Louis David's famous painting of Napoleon at St. Bernard Pass. I'm going to hang it in the bathroom to freak out guests.

They're small things, but they make me happy. ♥
