Late thoughts on Merlin 4x04

The Good
-Merlin pantsing Arthur then rolling around on the floor with him while all the court advisors watch.
-Merlin and the woodworm.
-Arthur actually buying that woodworm story (twice!) and thinking Merlin is deranged.
-Merlin throwing himself bodily on top of a sleeping-and-at-least-half-naked-while-in-bed Arthur, who DOES NOT EVEN WAKE UP AT FIRST despite being a highly trained warrior.
-Bradley James and all his FACES
-All the knights teasing Merlin (I was gonna be upset with them for the food thing but it turned out to be cute after all).
-Merlin being all "I am the last Dragonlord!!"
-The wee white dragon!
-The Slash Dragon once again going on about the shared destiny of Merlin and Arthur and the kingdom they'll build togetherand the baby dragon they'll raise together.
-James Callis! Even though he was just a generic baddie and didn't sound much like himself to my ears.
The Not So Good
-A whole episode without a single female character. There might've been some background female Druids, but not a single woman had a speaking role or was seen on camera for any significant length of time. Evidently girls just don't get to have adventures.
-Merlin is racking up an impressive number of Lies Told to Arthur by now, which is sure to come back and bite him in the ass later on.
-The preview for next week. I'm anticipating some uncharacteristic behavior from Arthur and hope it's just not too horribly disappointing.
