castaliaBefore I get to work on that Bling report, I have some good news on the job front. While in VA, I heard back from the Cramer Fish Sciences people with whom I had the phone interview a few weeks ago. They want to fly me out to California next week to do a face to face interview, all paid for! Let the nervousness commence.
Just got an email from them today, saying we have to give presentations about a project we've done and do a lot of Q&A type things. I suppose I'll take the presentation I did for my thesis and update it with the results and discussion, as it's the only real research project I've done on my own. Still, I wish they'd told me earlier. I'm both excited and nervous, b/c I still have to impress them further to get the job. It looks like I'm competing against two other candidates, and I have no idea what sort of qualifications they might have. Still, it's a good development and if nothing else I'll get a free trip out to California and some good interview experience.
I need an interview outfit now. Meep.
