Posting suckage, vacation, summer reading...

I have sucked hardcore at posting the past month or so. Sorry about that. I still read my flist pretty religiously, at least. I think the big problem is that I have no active fandoms to talk about right at this moment, as most of them are either over for the summer or for whatever reason I haven't had time to catch up on them (ie Dr Who). Will try to work on that.

Work is interesting, though our big summer promotion makes things hectic and busy. Happily, I'm gone next week and will be spending my vacation time in Florida with shanola22 and family. Hoping the sun and sea air will get rid of the slight head cold I seem to have acquired (really starting to wonder if perhaps I might have some slight allergies or something).

Anyone have any light beach reading recs? Something new and fun would be nice, especially fantasy or light sci-fi, or even a mystery. Otherwise I'll be taking some Discworld to re-read.
