I suppose it was foolish to hope 2009 would have fewer deaths of awesome actors than 2008. *sigh*

RIP, Patrick McGoohan

I never watched "The Prisoner", but I got to visit the small town in Wales where it was filmed - Portmeirion - and quite enjoyed that. My favorite role of McGoohan's will always be Dr Syn: The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh, one of the "episodes" of The Wonderful World of Disney. The special edition Disney Vault DVD of it just came out in time for Christmas and I was thrilled to get it on DVD before my old VHS wore out completely. Definitely one of my favorite movies ever. I may have to watch it tomorrow, just to reminisce. *sigh*
