Sep. 6th, 2006 10:18 amIf all goes well, this should be my last week of lab work.
*crosses fingers and knocks on wood, etc*
The little ones are big enough now, so I have 6 trials to run in the Y-maze with those, then a few more cuttles to euthanize and dissect for their cuttlebones, photos to take, some measurements to get from those photos, and then I'm done. In the lab, anyway. Which is good, b/c if we want to continue using the labs, computers, and other resources at uni past the end of September they make you pay. And that's 23 quid I don't have. So, yes. Finishing this week, dammit.
So far the analysis isn't proving too time consuming or difficult, so I'm hoping the rest won't take long. If I really bust my ass on this, I can hand in a draft before the end of September, take a week off while my supervisor looks it over (vacation, whee!), then make any corrections and get the damn thing in for binding. I just need to figure out whether or not I'm eligible for a distinction so I know if I need two or three copies to hand in (distinctions hand in three - way to punish you for doing well, take more money!)
I apologize to those who requested 5 things from me - I'll get to them, I promise! And don't hesitate to ask for more, I've been enjoying these.
