Well, it's 5:30 am and the hated benthos report is printing. I'm going to bind the damn thing, stick it in the box, then go the hell home and catch a few hours of sleep before I have to get up for lectures.

My discussion is too short, but I can't add any more and I'm absolutely shattered. Add menstrual cramps and some leakage to the list and I'm one very unhappy camper.

The only good thing? Loserboy is GONE. Christina texted me earlier to let me know the good news. I can go home to a quiet home sans freaks.

*goes to fight with the stupid binder*

I know I have some people with marvelous musical taste on my flist, so, a query:

UWB is having an international evening thing in February, where international students can share aspects of their cultures via information stands or various types of "performances" including music and dance. The only thing I can think of that I'd really want to do is sing, so I volunteered. Of course, now I have to choose a song, hopefully one that won't require too much accompaniment.

Any ideas? Something suitably regional for the South might be nice, but I'm not much for country music so I'd keep that limited to jazz or maybe a folk type thing (maybe a less drawl-y version of Alison Kraus or Emmylou Harris, perhaps). I love both genres, so there are quite a few options. Jazz was a big thing in my home area, so that would work nicely but might be harder to get backup music for. Hm.
