Birthdays! and a recipe

I've been so terribly neglectful of birthdays these past few months. Eep.

One big happy belated birthday to deludedvision, skutir, artifuss, and viola_cesario! So sorry about the lateness.

The sinus thing has turned into a full-blown head cold, damn it to the deepest layers of Hades. Obviously my body is trying to commit suicide by preventing me from breathing or sleeping properly. Am going through tons of tissues and hand sanitizer, not to mention the endless pots of tea.

To comfort myself, I made cookies. Not just any cookies. Ranger Cookies. My grandmother used to make these for as long as I can remember, but would never give out the recipe. After she died mum did a little digging and came across this one, which is identical as far as I can tell. These are my favorite cookies ever.
