Word play and a quiz.
Jun. 10th, 2004 01:31 amOh, the joy of words! Today's word-of-the-day at
wordsmith_daily is "embrangle", meaning to embroil or entangle. This seems to me an excellent example of a portmanteau word: two or more words smashed together to make a new one, a favorite device of Lewis Carroll. I love this word! I must use it in conversation.
