Squeee!! Great movies on DVD.

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead is coming out on DVD! It's not available yet, and no clues as to when it *will* be available, but Amazon has info here and there are a few pics up here. Scroll down to the next to last row and click on the pic to get a java window.

This really makes my year. It's such an amazing movie, yet so hard to find on VHS, and if you do find it, it's terribly expensive. To have it on DVD...::drool::

Also on my wish list is the special edition of The Adventures of Robin Hood, which looks amazing. They're including the original trailers and other period footage to make watching the DVD like seeing the movie in the theatre in 1938. It will be released on September 30 of this year, and right now you can order it from Amazon for $20. I'll have to check some other dealers and do some price comparison.

Am very tired from several days of helping my friends with their new house. Painting and laying slate tile are rather exhausting.

Cat is still limping. I'm going to be very pissed if these blasted antibiotics aren't doing their job, especially after all the trouble it's been to make her take them.

I haven't had much time for reading the past few days, so after I catch up with LJ I think I'll settle in with some Jeeves. I need my Bertie fix.
