So, we have Charles Emerson Winchester III. Arrogant as ever, too.
I will admit to being impressed by that shot of the city. Very pretty!
Why isn't there a team who deals specifically with this type of diplomacy? Weir wasn't doing too badly this time, but geez, way to bring the group who's guaranteed to say the wrong things and offend people.
So they're not "Ancient-y", are they, Shep? Is that b/c none of them are rushing to jump you?
WTF, they're Replicators? Why are we reusing that old villian now? *sigh*
I'm not even touching that implied anal probe stuff. Nope, not touching it. Way too easy.
This is their effects budget for half the season, isn't it?
Ah, so the Ancients created the Replicators. Or a different version of them. Is there anything bad in the galaxy that they didn't have a hand in creating? In a way, I can see why they don't want to interfere now - they've done way, way too much damage already. Much like our current band of explorers.
That one lady in the research trio looks familiar. I'm thinking X-Files related, early season...OMG, of course! The chick from "Roland"! Tracy, I think. The mentally handicapped girl who was friends with Roland. That remains one of my absolute favorite XF eps ever.
How much do I love that Ronon is the first to go to McKay's aid? A lot.
Well, that was nice. They saved only the one guy and not his two friends who also wanted to ascend, and then they killed him anyway. Or okay, maybe not. Still, they didn't do him any favors. I'm kinda hoping we see him again. He's got to feel betrayed, by both sides.
After the high of last week, this week's ep left me kind of cold. Why bring great guest stars to the show if you're going to underuse them?
