1. Exactly! Jeeves knows exactly how to manipulate a situation so that he gets what he wants, so we have to assume he likes where he is. And I didn't mention it before, but his habit of going ahead and getting rid of certain items in Bertie's wardrobe, or any other sort of premptive behaviour, shows he very confident about that sort of thing. He really does get away with a lot of liberties.
