Oh, and you might want to check out my SG:A Sims 2 Theatre stuff over in ophidiae. Yeah, it's mainly McShep, but it's also totally a badfic satire. The sad thing? Most of the people reading it don't get that it's a parody. I mean, I had Mary Sue princesses who turned into Cthuluhian monsters, ferchrissake! How much more obvious do I need to be?
Re Carson. This is a common problem when you have multiple writers for a show and no-one bothering to check for character continuity. All manner of paradoxical contradictions creep in, because it's all done in the name of plot demands rather than character growth.
