castaliaPics of the new do beneath the cut. Not too much change this time from the last pic I posted, except for the sides. This is first time I've had it cut around the ears. It feels so odd not having hair to tuck behind my ears; nice, though, b/c it doesn't bother me like it always did.
I never did smile well in pictures. It's either all teeth or some weird smirk.
Also, thanks to some lovely Sci-Fi Channel magazines and their fold-outs, I have things on my walls. Behold:

There's another BSG poster, too (Adama, Starbuck, Apollo and Boomer posed against a Viper) but the glare rendered the picture useless. It's nice to have something to look at besides blank walls with woodchip wallpaper. Though I still say the carpet makes up for everything.
It's a Friday night and by all rights I should be out doing something fun but a week of video conferences about Coastal Zone Law and lectures on economics has all but killed me. As my classmates would say, I'm completely knackered. Rest sounds infinitely more appealing than Raccubah (I hate clubs anyway). I've got to walk over to Menai Bridge tomorrow anyway to feed the cuttlefish, so I need the sleep. Some of them are getting bigger now (about 4 inches mantle length) and are hungry little bastards. Aggressive, too; the ones in tank B keep squirting water at me through their siphons. They're lucky they're so cute.
