Ramblings at 4:30 AM

castaliaHave finished watching every episode, deleted scene, and promo on my Miracles DVD set and wrapped up listening to the last commentary last night. I'm full of fannish love and even more questions than before, but there's a sadness b/c that's it. There's no more. Woe. blingfest next weekend to look forward to.
Tonight at work, a co-worker (who shall be known as Drive-thru Nerdboy in this LJ) and I were discussing upcoming movies over which we are being huge geeks. Other Geek Co-worker was mocking Drive-thru Nerdboy's plan to attend the midnight showing of Star Wars on opening day dressed in his Jedi robes and carrying a lightsaber.
Other Geek Co-worker has more comic books and action figures than I have freckles, so he isn't one to judge, really.
This prompted me to wonder aloud whether or not I should show up to the first matinee showing of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy I can (damn having to work all weekend) dressed comfortably in pajamas and a dressing gown, carrying a towel. Was informed this was a dorky thing to do, yet the idea of going out in public in such comfy attire is quite appealing. At the very least, I must have my towel. No truly hoopy frood should be seeing this movie without one, after all.
Just realized I don't actually own a dressing gown. Nor even an ordinary bathrobe. Blast. *plots tosteal borrow sister's robe*
