Some RL stuff...

Eep. Have to be at orientation at S'nS in an hour. As much as I'm looking forward to earning a paycheck again, today will likely be exceedingly boring. Unless they decide to be wonderful and nice, I'll have to sit down and fill out endless paperwork and watch training videos I've already seen fifty times. Oh well, at least I get paid for it.

No idea how long this will take, or if I'll be working any afterwards, so Chatterleys, if I don't show up in chat tonight, I'm working. Don't say too many terrible things about me behind my back :P

In other news, I always knew I was a forgetful sod, especially when it comes to little family things I should know and don't. Yesterday was my kid brother's birthday, and I'd forgotten all about it until mum said "hey, we're going out to dinner for Casey's birthday, come with us" and I went "huh? O.o" I have a calendar; I should use it to write these things down.

He's 16, btw. I fear for humanity.

ETA: Well, that was quick. Much as I expected - endless paperwork. No videos yet, so maybe I've escaped them. Pleasingly enough, I'm going to be on first shift, and I start work tomorrow. Not too many hours yet, but I'm hoping that will improve by next week or so. Anyway, I'm home now, so I'll be able to make the weekly Chatterleys and any Soapgate chats. Whee!

Heh. No making of milkshakes yet, but possibly tomorrow. Dunno yet what I'm going to be doing, exactly. It may be a combination of things.

Not a problem. The orientation only took a few hours, so I'll be free to play. And I don't have to go in until 11am tomorrow, so I can be up at least a *little* late ;)
