Hobbit trailer!

I am going to try my best to ignore the awfulness of the new comment system and the fact that many of the features I use daily are now gone (though forcing my own style in S2 gets them back for the most part, for now anyway).

Instead, I'm going to squee over the new Hobbit trailer, despite having to wait another whole year for the movie. It looks wonderful! I'm so pleased for Dean O'Gorman, too, though tbh not all of the LOTR actors went on to get huge careers after the movies, so it might not be the big boost for him that we'd like, but still. Very cool.

Man, what happened to all my LOTR icons...I need to rotate those back in again.

I checked out the trailer today and it did look fantastic, and I too am totally cheering on the Dean!

Just became peripherally aware of the latest LJ fail (I moved to IJ years ago, and LJ continues to validate that choice). Hope it doesn't suck too bad for those who stay. I know of at least one comm I visit here that's moving because of the changes.

This is honestly the first big LJ change that has affected usability for me to this extent. Navigating large posts and long comment threads is now almost impossible. The loss of the subject lines is definitely causing some problems in communities. *sigh*

I cannot believe we have to wait another YEAR for the Hobbit. OMG.

Ugh, ikr? I hate waiting.

A WHOLE YEAR. D:

Man, I am all a-squee about the trailer! And I'm enough of a nerd that I will admit to being especially happy at finally getting to hear Richard Armitage sing. He's always pretty high up on my list of men that bring out my inner voice-slut, and when you combine that with my love of baritone singing voices? I am one happy fangirl. *g*

Man, what happened to all my LOTR icons...I need to rotate those back in again.

LOL! I was just thinking that. *g*

Oh, the singing! I forgot to mention that. It was so damn awesome. I keep forgetting it's Richard Armitage under all that beard :D
