General info and listings of US-based protest rallies. I have to work on Friday or else I'd be in Nashville. Hell, I may get off as soon as possible and drive up there anyway.

For once, I'm impressed by Twitter. I love that it's being used as an instrument of good here.

I've been reading the live posts at ontd_political since I got back. The photos of the protests are just astounding, and I'm especially moved by all the women so bravely putting themselves out there. Just, wow.

I'm certainly still outraged about things here at home, but I recognize that I'm privileged b/c I can still get online and read about those atrocities. I have internet and phone service, and the Iranians are having that taken away from them because the government wants them silenced.

Privileged? If you say so. I say we are allowed these things because our populace isn't troublesome enough. Yet. ;-)
