A "duh!" moment.

I finally twigged on why the names Orci and Kurtzman sounded familiar to me when I saw their writers credit in the new Star Trek movie.

They used to write for Hercules and Xena. No joke. This is like when Ngila Dickson went from doing the costumes and those shows to winning Oscar's for it with LOTR.

Not to mention, Karl Urban. Never, ever would I have guessed back then that all these New Greeceland actors and crew would be so famous now. *loves it*

At a con back in the day I snagged a picture signed by the three lead actors in Young Hercules - cheesy but I loved that silly little show. Now Ryan Gosling is all famous and shit. I should dig through my stuff and make sure I still have that picture.

I know the Two Idiot in Charge are writing Star Trek movies. The guys responsible for Porkules are writing Star Trek movies!!!!

Go figure.

Yeah Orci and Kurtzman seem to work a lot with JJ Abrams. I know they also did Alias with him, and I may have seen their names on some other shows.
