Well, sort of Roman. The sign claims it's more likely a Norman settlement, so I'm not sure why it's called the Roman Camp. There's not even any proper ruins left, not compared with the other Roman camps and fortlets and forts and things in the area. I'm hoping to see more of those this week. Will remember to get more batteries for the camera so I can take pictures!

That exhibit looks really cool! I'm certainly tempted - I'll just need to see what my work schedule will be for those few days after I get back, especially the Thursday of next week. Not sure how quickly I'll have to hurry back on Wednesday, but hopefully not too quickly.
