I, too, thought it was going to be a true disappearance as in captured or incapacitated for a period of time type of thing. McGillion is supposed to be in some upcoming eps like "Vengeance", so either that's a fake-out too or he'll be back in some way.

The ending made my slasher heart happy, but dude, not cool. I hate losing favorite characters. Nothing will ever hurt me like losing D'Argo at the end of the FS Mini, but damn if this isn't close.
