Procrastinate? I prefer to think of it as striving for perfection.

So, I'm not finished with the powerpoint part of my presentation for the ICZM conferences that start tomorrow.

However, the last minute time schedule we were emailed shows that my presentation isn't until Friday. Thus, I feel no guilt for not being finished. I've done all the research, made copious notes, and I totally feel that I understand the subject thoroughly enough for something we were given two days to do (and in my case, one, b/c I switched topics by necessity). Besides, I want the extra day to play in Photoshop so I can produce something nice.

My font-obsession is saddened by the fact that I know the computer we'll have to use for the presentations won't have any decent fonts on it. I really want to use "Impacted" for my titles but I'd probably have to capture them all and make little jpegs out of them then import them into the project. Which is possible, but time-consuming.

*sigh*

This is all because of icon making. I know it. But dammit, the font is one of the most important parts of graphic presentation and I want "Impacted".

Hm. I could always choose whatever I wanted for all the different slides, capture the full slides, then import them into a totally new presentation. But am I that anal about it to do all that work?

Shut up. I heard every one of you. No, the question was not rhetorical. :P

If you don't want an answer, you shouldn't ask the question. :P

Your presentation will be beautiful with a slightly less "impactful" font, you can find another one just as lovely. You have a good eye, it'll look great. Knock it off, Couch. Stop obsessing. It will give you ulcers.

*pouts* But I want Impacted. Computers don't come with any standard fonts worth much, IMO, and frankly I'd have a hard time remembering which would be ok. At least if I capture everything I can guarantee how it will look no matter what the computer does.
