I did like this episode a bit better than many of the recent ones, although the whole "Pegasus escapes by the skin of its teeth" had a simplistic, Star Trek feel to it. Perhaps some of their crewmembers will obtain superpowers from the residual radiation of the tactical nuke strikes and thereby defeat the cylon menace. :-P~
The whole abortion issue just struck me as the old "ripped from the headlines" cliche that crops up in every freakin' show. It was a good way to emphasize Laura's commitment to political expedience, just in case that plot point hasn't already been hammered to death. I love that Baltar is sticking it to her. Been waiting for that FOREVER. Watching Six during his campaign announcement was quite telling. She looked so pained when he spoke of freedoms preventing humankind from sinking to cylon levels. Couldn't quite tell if she was angry at that statement or jealous that humans had freedoms. The upcoming cylon-pov episode promises to be quite good.
