Holiday card poll

It's that time of year again. I'm trying to start doing cards early this year, as many of them will take longer to arrive this year. If you're interested in getting a card from me, just fill out the poll with your snail mail and any details you want to provide.

[Poll #607783]

In slightly fannish news, I've been using some of the spare time I manage to snatch to re-read my old favorite RGB fic. Yes, that's the Real Ghostbusters. Hush. You'd be surprised at how prolific a fandom it is. Unfortunately, my favorite author has since gone pro, and though she's finally back with a new pseud, her RGB fic is still offline. I do, however, have text files of most of them (just in case anyone is interested in some gen and some Peter/Egon slash by Robyn Thurman...*cough*). Happily, my second favorite, Mara, has put her site back up here. Her RGB stuff is good, but my favorite is her one Wild Wild West gen story, The Night of the Silver Baron - honestly the best WWW fic I've read.

In honor of this bout of nostalgia, I use the old Egon w/twinkie icon. I got it after that Firefly vid kerfuffle thing where that one asshat called everyone twinkie-eating fat bitches and then compared himself to Jesus. Don't remember who made the icon, but it was possibly [livejournal.com profile] boniblithe. Possibly.

I need an RGB icon. That cartoon was part of my childhood, yo.

Did you get my postcard? I sent them a bit late, probably very late for you and international mail. ...Which I have to ask about because I don't entirely trust my post office.

Ooh, not yet. No idea how long the international thing takes, but I'll keep an eye out for it. :)

*needs to get to the post office as well and mail things like postcards*

Okay. It was a Halloween postcard, reprints of old cards from the Victorian era. I sent them a bit later than I wanted, but I also had no idea how long international mail takes.

They sound absolutely lovely. I'm waiting for stuff from my mother as well, drat these mail folks.
