The fact that this is a quiz result makes me very happy.
Spent the evening with the Farlows, and will probably be over there again tomorrow to help with their trial-run with the ice cream maker (in prep. for Sunday's ice cream social at St. Luke's). Courtesy of Sandy, I also have a possible job prospect - substitute teaching. I might have to have a second job a few evenings out of the week in order to make enough $$, but at least this would let me use my brain. We'll see.
Having problems deciding on a recipe for the duck mum and I will be experimenting with on Saturday. There's a nice-sounding one here that uses a burgandy sauce, and one here with consommé and sherry (although I'd leave out the orange bits, never liked orange in my meat). Or, if those are too complicated, there's a much simpler one here. Any thoughts from you?
Random thought - LJ seems to make one lose the ability to write with personal pronouns. Must correct this.

Heck leepshin, if I knew you were interested in grappling with the kiddies I could have told you how to go about it months ago. I just got my yearly "Are you still subbing?" notification, in fact. I won't be, obviously, but no doubt I'll still be getting phone calls at five in the morning.
