AOL woes, long weekend, and the Scarlet Pimpernel.

Ok, I officially hate AOL 9.0. I've had nothing but problems with this thing since I updated. It just keeps freezing up when I try to get to websites. Also, things are moved around, and it totally scrambled my favorite places list. My anal-rententive tendencies are offended.

The weekend has been nice, though. Spent yesterday with cimmerianwillow, hanging out and talking each other's ears off. I showed her some Sherlock Holmes (she liked) and she showed me the DVDs of the A&E version of the Scarlet Pimpernel that were finally delivered (I liked). Not as good as the Anthony Andrews version (but what *could* be, I ask you), but entertaining, and it was another fun game of spot-the-British-actor. One guy from Jeeves and Wooster (Morty, the tee-totaller), Bracegirdle from Hornblower, Martin Shaw of Professionals sorta-fame, and of course, our own Jamie Bamber also from Hornblower. All in all, a fun day. Still don't have any real plans for Labor Day, but I don't care as long as it doesn't constitute work.
